	Hang-Chien Hsu Donated 20 Million to Chang Yeo Lan Scholarship, Up to 200 TKU students benefited On November 21st, Guidance Section, Office of Student Affairs held the Awarding Ceremony of Chang Yeo Lan Scholarship, 2022 Academic Year at Chang Yeo Lan International Conference Hall, Shou-Chlien International Conference Center. President Huan-Chao Keh hosted the ceremony. Vice President for Administrative Affairs Chun-Hung Lin, Vice President for International Affairs Hsiao-Chuan Chen, all first- and second-level supervisors and awardees, over 300 people were at present. Alumnus of Graduate Institute of Management Sciences, Mr. Hang-Chien Hsu gave back to the alma mater, benefiting junior brothers and sisters in the university. 	TKU University Sustainability Report 2021 awarded TCSA Gold Medal Tamkang has taken it up a notch in sustainability! Tamkang has been awarded the gold medal for University Sustainability Reports at the 15th Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award (TCSA) 2022. The award ceremony was held amid the 5th Global Corporate Sustainability Forum from November 16 to 18. TKU participated in TCSA last year for the first time and was awarded the bronze medal for University Sustainability Reports. This year, TKU has made a lot of progress and obtained recognition with the gold medal. 	TKU and CECI Signed MOU to Cultivate Interdisciplinary Talents Together Vice President for Academic Affairs of TKU, Hui-Huang Hsu, and Chairman of CECI Engineering Consultants, Inc., Taiwan, Yi-Fang Shih, on behalf of each side, signed the MOU at Shao-Mo Memorial Activity Center on November 14. The two sides will collaborate to cultivate interdisciplinary talents of high caliber, to set up test labs, and on research projects, student internship in industry, and exchanges of personnel. They will support each other and create prosperity together in the future. The signing ceremony was held during the weekly meeting of College of Engineering. 	Intelligent Living Space Design Competition, Jia-Hua Weng & Tsai-Xian Shao's Cooperation Won Gold Award "Emotion Sport-Emotion Conversion Sport Station" (Emotion Sport情緒轉換運動站), collaboratively designed by Jia-Hua Weng, a 5th-year student from Department of Architecture and Tsai-Xian Shao, a 2nd-year student from Graduate Institute of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was awarded the gold medal of Creative Fantasy from the 15th Intelligent Living Space Design Competition. The theme of the competition was "Creative Fantasy, Future Nest"(創意狂想 巢向未來). The organizer of the competition, Architecture and Building Research Institute, Ministry of the Interior, held the awarding ceremony & work sharing session on November 16th. 	USR Expo, 3 Projects Presented Outcomes Teams of TKU USR projects, Good Life in Tamsui (淡水好生活), TKU Farmer(農情食課), and Tamsui-Yi Lan Amphibious Jaunt (淡蘭海陸輕旅遊), participated in 2022 USR Expo at Songshan Cultural Park, Taipei on November 19-20. 	Matt Chan Won Michelin 3 Stars for 5 Consecutive Years Le Palais, the famous Chinese restaurant of Palais de Chine Hotel, has won Michelin 3 stars for 5 consecutive years from 2018 to 2022. Executive Chef for Chinese cuisine of the restaurant, Matt Chan is a student in the EMBA program of Department of Business Administration. He said that Le Palais focused on quality from the source of ingredients. He and his colleague Ken Chan jointly lead the team.
